DEW---when the tem p cools to its saturation point we call that dewpoint now to get the Word dew out of that we find that dew is what forms on the surface on grass and trees. FROZEN DEW---when the temp drops below freezing and then these dew particles turn into frozen water particles and collect on the surface as ice. particles and collect on the surface as ice. FOG TYPES ACID FOG---fog that forms in a very polluted atmosphere can turn acidic and imposes great thereat to human RADIATION FOG---this is fog that is produced when the air cools this type forms best on clear and calm nights Also you have a shallow moist layer that forms near the surface and above that you have a dry layer. DRY AIR MOIST AIR SURFACE ADVECTION FOG---this fog forms when you cool surface air to its saturation point.
