Pronunciation: Jazz Chant Sally speaks Spanish, but not very well. When she tries to speak Spanish, you really can’t tell what language she’s speaking or trying to speak. The first time I heard her, I thought it was Greek.

Pronunciation: Jazz Chant His English is wonderful. He speaks very well. His accent is perfect. You really can’t tell that he isn’t a native of the U.S.A. There’s only one problem: he has nothing to say.

Tongue Twister Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers, Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, then where is the peck of pickled peppers that Peter Piper picked?

Vowel Sounds ( 母音 ) Betty Botter bought some butter, "But," she said, "this butter's bitter. If I bake this bitter butter, it would make my batter bitter. But a bit of better butter - that would make my batter better." So she bought a bit of butter, better than her bitter butter, and she baked it in her batter, and the batter was not bitter. So 'twas better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter.

Jazz Chant: “Banker’s Wife’s Blues” Where does John live? He lives near the bank. Where does he work? He works at the bank. When does he work? He works all day and he works all night, at the bank, at the great, big bank. Where does he study? He studies at the bank. Where does he sleep? He sleeps at the bank. Why does he spend all day, all night, all day, all night, at the bank, at the bank? Because he loves his bank more than his wife, and he loves his money more than his life.

Jazz Chant: What are you going to do when you’re twenty-two? What are you going to do when you’re twenty-two? I haven’t decided. What about you? I might climb a mountain. I might go to France. I might write a story. I might learn to dance. Where are you going to be when you’re twenty-three? I might be in Paris. I might be in Rome. I might be in Turkey. I might be home. What are you going to be when you’re ninety-three? I’m going to be old when I’m ninety-three. What are you going to do when you’re one hundred and two? I haven’t decided. What about you?
