BHA Fund Balance FY runs July – June As of June 30, 2006 Fund Balance = $34,236.81 As of June 30, 2007 Fund Balance = $45,167.85

BHA Financial Support Revenue consists of dues, sponsorship, and event registration Membership support is extremely important Special thanks to our founding members –Blue Grass Airport –Bluegrass Chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association –Commerce Lexington –Keeneland –Lexington Convention and Visitor’s Bureau –Kentucky Eagle Beer

2006-2007 Budget Revenues and expenses remain in line with the previous year Plan to hold approx. 7 events in 2007- 2008 BHA is projected to end the year with approx. $6,655 in excess revenue over expenses

BHA 2006 – 2007 Accomplishments Hosted Annual Tourism Forum and Trade Show Grew membership Hosted Government Affairs Luncheon where Governor Ernie Fletcher spoke on tourism in Kentucky Hosted special events included Holiday Party and 5th Annual Golf Outing to fund the Mark O’Brian scholarship Worked to update legislation related to alcohol sales

2007 Legislative Actions Briefed Bluegrass Area State Representatives on Legislative Agenda Successfully advocated for special Sunday Exemption for NYE 2006 Met with Mayor Newberry to Discuss Tourism Board Appointments and BHA Issues Advocated for “Sunset” clause in current Louisville Museum Project Legislation Successfully advocated for updating Lexington’s ABC Ordinance with LFUCG Hosted Luncheon with Governor Fletcher to review Tourism Accomplishments of the Administration
