7 Plot Exposition: Rain, the owner and only adult member of a hippie commune, breaks her hip picking plums and has to go to the hospital Main Conflict (Rising Action): Cap, Rain’s grandson, is forced by Social Services to live with Mrs. Donnelly, a social worker and ex- commune member, while Rain heals; he doesn’t fit in Climax: The C Average Football is set up by Zach and Hugh to tackle Cap, who is dressed up like a member of the rival team Falling Action: Darryl punches Zach for tricking the team into hurting Cap, Rain gets out of the hospital, Mr. Kasigi discovers Cap’s unauthorized use of the checks, Sophie finds Cap Resolution: Rain decides to sell Garland so Cap can grow up in the “real world”
