3.  What is a biography?  What kinds of biographies do you know?  Have you ever read one?  Who was it about?  What kind of information should a biography have?  What linguistic features do you expect to find in a biography? Exemplify.

4. In groups: Read about a writer and a painter. Answer the questions:  Where was she/he born?  When was she/he born?  What do you learn about his/her childhood?  Which people played a part in her/his life?  What do you think were the most important events in her/his life?  What do you learn of her/hius works?  When did she/he die?

5.  Based on the biographies you’ve read, think about your autobiography.
