April 2006 Parity non-conservation in nuclei: 180m Hf revisited IS429 collaboration - NICOLE H = H 0 + H PNC case of 180m Hf - mixture of 8 - (K = 8) and 8 + (K = 0) states ( E =57 keV) - regular transition strongly suppressed by K = 8 difference Anisotropy of 511 keV transition relative to 444 keV for B-field alternatively up and down ↓ October 2005

Given the yields at ISOLDE this will allow COLLAPS to study copper isotopes up to and including 72 Cu. IS439 - copper isotopes Stable beam test, March 2006
