CREATIVTIY, ACTIVITY & SERVICE (CAS) No recognition of hours No recognition of hours as a measure of successful completion One MAJOR (creativity-focused/action-focused) CAS requirement sports club/team in school join either a CAS sports club/team in school ; OR creative thinking/intellectual abilities make them use their creative thinking/intellectual abilities, e.g. English writing club, art club, music band, choir, etc. One MAJOR(service-focused) CAS requirement service club/service team/service programme/service activity join a service club/service team/service programme/service activity of which the duration is more the 3 months and has regular service- related tasks, e.g. a service programme organize by a local charity, a service project/club organized in school, etc. maintain a process journal in their ManageBac account In the journal, they need to have a plan, a record of what they have done, a 800-word reflection and other relevant items

One MINOR (service-focused) CAS requirement participate in a one-off service activity, e.g. flag selling 1 C/A 1 M S 1m S ManageBac enter the details of all the above major and minor CAS activities into ManageBac account. ManageBac upload a document (e.g. a certificate/CAS activity verification form) to ManageBac account to prove they have done it. homeroom teachers At the end of the school year, homeroom teachers will check their performance according to a rubric.
