7. PBIS Specialist (1 fte) Professional development, coaching and consultation to 21 schools and other district departments and groups. (PBIS Teams at individual buildings, counselors, transportation department, nurses, new teachers, volunteers, PBIS/Military Grant, Middle School PBIS Para Educators, Instructional Specialists.) Plans and facilitates District PBIS Planning Teams and PBIS Coordinator meetings. Program Research on current best PBIS practices to support effective, sustainable implementation. Conducts and/or facilitates PBIS program assessment at each school. Collects, summarizes and presents district data to PBIS District Planning Team. SWIS Facilitation for all schools. Attends regional PBIS meetings to serve as a link to PBIS organizations and networks.

8. PBIS Coordinators 1-2 Staff per School PBIS Coordinators: Counselors, Teachers, Dean of Students, Assistant Principals, and PBIS Para Educators. Role at their School: Oversee PBIS planning, implementation, and monitoring; facilitate PBIS Planning Team meetings, and facilitate and/or coordinate SSBD universal screen two times per year. At the District: Attend ongoing PBIS professional development in the District. Attend monthly PBIS Coordinator meetings to share resources, problem solve, and celebrate progress. (High School PBIS Coordinators also meet as a group with a counselor representatives quarterly.)

9. PBIS M.S. Para Educators (3 fte) 1 full time Para Educator at each comprehensive middle school. Participate and/or coordinate school PBIS Tier One Planning Team. Provide Tier Two interventions: Check, Connect and Expect, Skillstreaming, coordinate mentor programs, data entry and report generation. Attend Monthly PBIS Coordinator meetings and district and state training.

10. PBIS/Military Grant Tier 2/3 Coach & Para Educators DOD 3 Year Grant: To provide Tier 2 Support to Students of Military Families to 6 Elementary Schools Tier 2/3 Coach & Mental Health Specialist (1 fte consultant): Provides coaching and training to Military/PBIS Para Educator staff and consultation with PBIS Teams to build capacity for PBIS Tier 2 and 3 implementation. Provides T3 consultation and coaching to classroom teachers and other staff in all elementary schools. Attends monthly PBIS/Military Grant meetings, PBIS Coordinator meetings, District PBIS Planning Team meetings, District PBIS Tier 2 Planning meetings, and building level PBIS team meetings. 6 Para Educators (.5 fte each): Provide Tier Two interventions: Check, Connect and Expect, Skillstreaming, informal support, parent information. Attend Monthly PBIS/Military Grant meetings.

Tier 2 District Planning Team PBIS Tier 2 District Planning Team Members: Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services, PBIS Specialist, PBIS Military Grant Specialist, School Administrators and PBIS staff representing Elementary, Middle School and High School. Meets monthly to address District-wide Tier 2 goals: To develop organize systems, data and practices to support individual buildings in implementing Tier Two. To identify District supports needed to develop, implement and sustain Tier Two. To monitor District support for Tier Two implementation with Tier Two Action Plan.

Assessment Tool/Tier DescriptionBy WhomTesting Window Benchmarks of Quality (BoQ) T1 Assesses and identifies areas of strength and weakness in Tier One features following first year of Tier One Implementation. Survey completed on hard copy & results summarized online PBIS Assessment. Tier One PBIS Team, facilitated by the PBIS Coordinator Annual Fall Assessment Self Assessment Survey (SAS) T1 T3 Measures staff perception of the extent to which PBIS features are in place (school-wide, classroom and individual support) and staff perception of priority to improve implementation of each feature. Assists with annual action planning, internal decision making, assessment of change over time, awareness of building staff and team validation. Completed online at PBIS Assessment. Assessment completed by all building staff Annual Spring Assessment Monitoring Advanced Tiers Tool (MATT) T2 T3 Assesses both organizational and critical elements of Tiers Two and Three. This tool monitors implementation progress across time and identifies specific areas for action planning to improve implementation. It may be used as an annual assessment tool and as a progress monitoring tool. Survey and results are summarized on hard copy. (MATT will be available online PBIS Assessment Winter 2012.)
