1. Climate Week (21-27 March) Climate week is for everyone wanting to do their bit to protect our planet and create a secure future but it can be difficult to know how to help.

2. What we do know  More than 40% of carbon emissions in the UK come from what we do every day – how we shop, how we get to school and what we put on our plates  Small changes can make a big difference

3. What we can do - Paper  Check your tutor room  Does it have a paper recycling bin?  If not can you make one?  Is it noticeable so it gets used?  If not how can you make it more obvious?  Is it being emptied?  If not can you as a tutor group make a rota to empty it weekly?  Do you know where to take it?  If not find out

4. What we can do - Computers  Are there computers in your tutor room?  If ‘no’ go to the next slide  If ‘yes’ check you have signs up reminding all to switch them off at the end of the lesson/ day  Do you have a printer?  Check it has a sign as well, if not make one
