2. What is Homecoming? The week where Washington-Lee alumni come back and participate in the Homecoming football game. Spirit week leads up to the game on Friday and closes with the Dance on Saturday

3. When is Homecoming? The Homecoming Game is October 2nd The Homecoming Dance is October 3 rd Buy your tickets BEFORE the dance!! Bring your ID to the dance!!

4. What is Spirit Week? Spirit week is the week leading up to homecoming! There are five different dress up days in Spirit Week. There also is the Penny war, Spotlight game, and Pep rally.

6. Day 1- Monday September 28 Blast from the Past Day Dress up in the clothes from your favorite decade. Rock a look from the 60s, 70s, 80s or any other time period you like! Togas are Reserved for Seniors!

7. Day 2- Tuesday September 29 America Day Show off your American Spirit and wear Red, White and Blue!

8. Day 3- Wednesday September 30 Class Color Day Support your class by wearing the class color! The freshman class color is gray.

9. Day 4- Thursday October 1 Game Day Wear a jersey from your favorite team or other spirit gear!

10. Day 5- Friday October 2 General’s Pride Day It’s all about that blue and gray! Pep Rally Pd 6!

15. Why participate in Spirit Week? Show support for your school! It’s fun! Compete to win the spirit stick!

16. How to Help. Every year we decorate the halls for spirit week. This year’s theme is Biomes, and the Freshman have the Artic. Decorating in the main hallway Contact Mrs.Shivers (room 4012) for more info. There will be pizza!
