You want to play Skee- Ball which costs $0.75 per game. a)Write and solve an inequality to find the possible numbers of times you can play the game. b)If you play the game the maximum number of times, will you have spent the entire $50? Explain. a) You can play the game no more than 13 times b)If you play the game 13 times, you will have spent a total of 25 + 15 + 0.75(13) = $49.75. You will have $0.25 leftover.

Your Thermodynamics professor has announced that course grades will be computed by taking 40% of your project score (0 – 100 points) and adding 60% of your final exam score (0 – 100 points). If you got an 86 on your project, what scores can you get on the final exam to get a course grade of at least 90? You must score at least 93 on the final exam.

As a fundraiser, student council is selling pizzas. The goal of the pizza sale is to raise $400 for the homecoming dance. Each pizza has eight slices, and is being sold for $2 per slice. If the cost for each pizza is $5.50, how many slices must they sell to reach their goal of $400? Student council must sell at least 305 slices to reach their goal.
