Purpose Equity among people with and without disabilities—in a system in which individuals pay for parking privileges Shift some demand away from central campus accessible parking to improve availability to those with greatest needs Address increasing needs as population ages Place parking in the context of the overall need for mobility and access (including: transit, other accessible transportation, technology, flex-place, etc.) Follow principles of “Universal Design,” broadening opportunities for collaboration and mobility, including the use of technology to reduce the need to travel.
