3 QUESTION 1:  Who are the key figures in this case? What events took place to bring this case to trial? The four teenagers: -Steve Haines -Yvonne Auclaire -Michael Kraleck -Jodi Porter Employee at beer stand- Ed Rice Cabin owners- Mr. and Mrs. Brown The four teenagers attended the Bixby Frog Festival. At the festival, 2 beer stands were set up and the kids were able to easily buy beer from these stands without being questioned or asked for an ID. While under the influence heavily from the alcohol the teenagers made some poor decisions and drove under the influence. Although no one was injured then, the teenagers also made the poor decision to break and enter to a near by cabin. The four teenagers got carried away and stole more alcohol from the cabin and vandalized the property.

6 QUESTION 3: CONTINUED Persons under 21; Illegal Acts related to alcohol Consumption: it is illegal for anyone who has a license to sell liquor to let anyone who is under the age of 21 years to drink alcohol on his or her property. Purchasing and providing: It is illegal to sell, give, or provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 21.

7 QUESTION 4: Other relevant information or issues of this case: Vandalism -Michael kicked out the door of Mr. and Mrs. Brown’s cabin -While inside they broke fours lamps, multiple picture frames, dishes, glass vases, the television -Steve vomited on the floor and did not bother to even clean it up -Yvonne left a blood trail from her cut foot

8 QUESTION 5: What was the outcome of this case? -Caused 10,000 in property damage -All 4 teenagers were charged with breaking and entering and underage consumption -Each had to pay $400 -Each were served with eighty hours of community service
