2.  There are many issues that we face that do not have right or wrong answers.  Our values and characteristics influence the decisions we make and the stands that we take on controversial issues.  As we discuss some of these issues today, be honest about your thoughts and feelings AND be respectful of others’ opinions.

4.  Why do more teen marriages fail?  Do violent video games encourage violence?  Which situation is more likely to put you in danger? › Getting a ride home from someone you just met at a party › Meeting someone in person who you have met on the internet but have no idea who they are › Going on a road trip with friends who you suspect will be partying and you don’t have your license

5.  Who is responsible for setting sexual boundaries in a relationship- the male or female?  Should teenagers have to get parental permission to get an abortion?

7.  When faced with controversial issues it is important to be considerate of other’s opinions but be able to have your own ideas.  Many different things influence the way we think and feel. It is up to you to make your own decisions and form your own opinions.
