1. Expect the Best Job Specification Sessional Quality Checker We will be working across 6 London Boroughs. It will be your job to work and check services in 3 Boroughs. What is Expect the Best? Expect the Best is a new quality checking project. It checks how well care services across North West London are doing their job. We want to make sure that people with learning disabilities and other disabled people are getting good care that is right for them. The choices are: Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Kensington and Chelsea OR Brent, Harrow and Barnet Expect the Best October 20131

2. You will be paid £8.75 an hou r. If you receive benefits you must check to see if making money will affect these. We cannot help with organising your benefits but we may be able to signpost you to organisations for advice. This is a sessional job, this means you work when you are needed. This is NOT a full time or part time job. You get paid for the work you do. What you will do Visit care services and speak to people who use them. This is called Quality Checking. Record the information that you get from the quality checks using a computer if possible. Work as part of a team and on your own to make sure you get the best information. 3. You must attend the 3 day training sessions. Experience of using care services. You will need to have the following skills Happy to speak to new people and ask them questions. You must be able to travel across your 3 chosen boroughs. It would be helpful if you are able to use a computer or have support to do this. You must be reliable and have good time keeping skills.
