In Groups: You will receive 3 pictures: 1.Look at each picture carefully 2.Answer the questions for that picture 3.Decide what region you most likely have!

Picture Questions: Picture #1 (physical description): 1.What do you see? 2.Where do you think this might be? 3.Does it look like an inviting environment? Picture #2 (early settlers): 1.How difficult would it be to settle here? 2.What type of home did early settlers have? 3.What types of tools do you see? Picture #3 (landmarks): 1.Do you know where the landmark is? 2.Can you guess?

Group Work: 1.Work with your group. Talking to another group can distract them from their tasks and hinder their learning as well as your own. Direct your attention toward the members of your group at all times. 2.Stay on task. As interesting as the football game or TV show on last night is, you are in class and should remain focused on group assignments.

Create a title page about AMERICAN HISTORY. Draw pictures, symbols, etc. to demonstrate what YOU know about American History. Take your time, be thorough, detailed, and creative.
