5. ❖ Kamini and Aparna visited Flagstaff. They are in process of finalizing their work-plan\PhD research and circulate to group; ❖ Jim Tilton’s Hseg is creating interest and it appears Kamini is planning to test Hseg for croplands vs. non-croplands. Jun is trying to see whether it will help reference data generation; ❖ Chandra Giri will be sending the global land cover reference data; ❖ Cristina’s Nigeria and North Africa work will also bring in more ground data?; ❖ Murali completed another field campaign in East Africa; ❖ Pardha and Jun got WARP accounts from NGA!!; ❖ Kamini and Aparna working on obtaining the WARP account; ❖ Pardha is desperately awaiting visa for Australia field work; ❖ Jun, Pardha, Richard are working on products and algorithms for Africa, Australia, and USA respectively.
