9 A collaborate design process is essential for adopting/adapting rubrics Self-assessment questions: Do we have InTASC and Oregon ISLLC Standards already in place? What are our plans to train our teachers/administrators on using the standards to promote effective practice? Do we currently have a 4-level rubric in place that is aligned to the standards? How does our rubric compare with the ODE provided samples? Do we want to adopt/adapt these rubrics? If we adapt, what changes will we make? Are there specialists who need different indicators to more accurately describe what they do? What is our staff’s level of understanding of our rubric? What are our plans to provide professional development to teachers and administrators? Resources
