4 Climate Cost We want availability all year round. Food out of season is more expensive for example strawberries in December will cost more than in July.

5 Research and explain the following terms Carbon Footprint Organic Fair Trade Food Miles

6 Explain the following terms Carbon Footprint – the emissions a product makes [food miles]. Organic – foods that have been grown or reared without chemicals. Fair Trade – means that the farmers gets a fair price for their product. Food Miles – the distance a product travels from harvesting to the supermarket.
