3 CVESD Soccer League “Where EVERY PLAYER is an individual of great worth” League goals: To have FUN and participate To promote good SPORTSMANSHIP To teach players the FUNDAMENTALS To instill a sense of TEAMWORK

4 Code of Conduct 1.Coaches and spectators are to conduct themselves as positive role models and display appropriate behavior. 2.Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators at all times. 3.Coaches, players, and spectators should treat the referee and their opponent with respect. * Unruly players, coaches, and spectators will be asked to leave if they do not follow these guidelines. Refusal to leave may result in suspension of the game and an eventual forfeit to the offending team.

5 CVESD Soccer League Expectations of Parents:
Parents may not say ANYTHING to the referee (including, but not limited to: c’mon ref, offside, call it both ways, watch the pushing, ref, that’s a foul, etc.) Parents should be positive and encouraging at all times Parents who cannot follow these guidelines will be asked to leave

6 Divisions Upper and Junior Teams
Coed – must have 2+ girls on field at all times Division I – larger enrollment school (greater than 600)

7 Season Information Games start week of February 10th, end of April
10 games, one per week Game Days: Junior Team: Tuesday – 4 pm 30 minute halves, 5 minute halftime, no extra time Game schedule provided Players must have transportation to and from games. Practices – Mondays 3-4pm

8 Equipment Required: Matching team jersey with number on back
Shinguards (NO EXCEPTIONS) Recommended: Molded soccer cleats (football and baseball cleats not allowed) Size 4 soccer ball (labeled with name, leather preferred) Water bottle

9 Necessary Forms Parent Code of Conduct Concussion Form
Release to Participate Form Voluntary Study Trip Form (permission slip) – to be passed out after game schedule is determined Please complete and return to Coach today.
