HOW DOES MOWR WORK? Advisement must be given to all students grades 8-12 regarding MOWR To participate students must apply and be accepted to the post-secondary institution that they wish to attend Each semester students will need to complete a participation agreement Students that attend MOWR courses through USG and TCSG will not pay any tuition or mandatory fees, and books will be provided eCore and MOWR courses through a private institution will be paid at $250 per semester hour There may be course specific fees, such as lab fees, that will still be the responsibility of the student Courses taken through MOWR will not impact HOPE Eligibility or the amount of HOPE money that a student receives 11 or fewer credit hours is considered part time MOWR enrollment and will need additional classes at the home school Students taking at least 12 semester hours or 15 quarter hours are considered full time MOWR students and will not need additional classes at their home school Satisfactory academic progress is required to continue participating in MOWR Learning & Leadership Services
