Audience Web-service builders, researchers, etc. –Google: web services government LandView users (students, teachers, librarians, etc.) (re-directed from Census Web site) –Google: LandView, List of Lists, Marplot maps Emails from diverse users with praise, broken links, etc. (several per month)

6 4. Usage USGS monitors overall hits LivePublish Application logs hits (1000s per month) EPA (Peter Gattuso) logs Marplot map downloads, etc. Supports LandView Training Sessions Supports USGS Testing of New Web- Connected CD and DVD products with Filemaker, etc. (e.g. USGS Open House)

7 5. Responsibilities Started server and content. Broadened to include LandView and other content contributors (Peter Gattuso and Jerry McFaul). Infrequent updates done on own time from home now (EPA Firewall prevents access). Recently helped to locate new server and transfer files to extend life. Answer inquires about content, fix broken links, etc. (minimal effort). –Doing EPA work now in Web 2.0 / Web 3.0 tools.

Question 5 - Average Visits –Approximately how many visits monthly to this site? Do not know –What was last month's traffic? Do not know Question 6 – What are the chief tasks for this site? –Information preservation and sharing. Question 7 – What other government website(s) have similar content? –None that we are aware of at this time. Question 8 - Business Transactions - Does this site permit online business transactions (other than text comments or feedback)? –No Question 9 - Does this site meet all federal web requirements such as security, privacy and 508 compliance? –Yes - USGS has that responsibility. Question 10 - Language - Does it offer the web content in languages other than English? –No Question 11 - Other comments about the site. –This Web site is a joint USGS-EPA Web Site based on an MOU.
