Sentence Versus Fragment What are the two things that make up a complete sentence? Subject/Verb Practice…sent or fragment….and fix it if it needs it –Darin likes to listen to Kayne West’s new song. –Eats apples. –Driving in the city during the evening rush hour.

What are the three ways to combine sentences? IC, conjunction IC. IC ; IC IC; conjunctive adverb, IC. Please combine the following sentence using ALL 3 ways! –Stephan wants to go to prom. His attendance sucks.

Subject Verb Agreement Singular subjects go with singular verbs…. She plays volleyball. Plural subjects go with plural verbs. They like to eat pretzels before they run.

Practice….you need it!!! The mountain bike with the red frame and the fat tires is/are the one I want. The new oak tree, along with three bags of planting mix and a box of fertilizer, was/were delivered to my house this morning. If Vinnie and Kierre won't listen, there is/are little I can do to help them.
