ADJUDICATION THE STEP IN FORMAL COURT PROCESSING IN WHICH THE JUDGE HEARS THE FACTS OF A CASE AND DETERMINES IF A MINOR HAS COMMITTED A DELINQUENT ACT. THIS STEP IS SIMILAR TO A TRIAL IN AN ADULT COURT.
