4. Washington Green Schools Is a voluntary, statewide, web-based program our school will use to: –Reduce its environmental and carbon footprint. –Provide students with hands-on experience & education about the environment.

5. Operation Green School  Is coming to Jason Lee in February  Will include students from 6 th, 7 th, and 8 th grade  Meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:50-4:25pm

Be the change you want to see in our school… As a member of the Green Team you will:  Sleuth out unnecessary waste in our school  Strategize ways to save energy and resources  Teach your peers and teachers how to reduce their carbon footprint  Help plan and put on a Sustainability Fair for the community

7. The Mission –Focus on environmental sustainability both inside and outside the classroom. –Take action that results in environmentally responsible facilities.

8. The Vision Our Students will:  Be community leaders as environmental stewards.  Help reduce our carbon footprint and teach others to do the same
