3. Characteristics Clown fish get their name by the way they look and the way they bounce up and down In the movie “Finding Nemo” the clownfish are actually aggressive fish They can grow up to 18 cm (7.1 inches) and the smallest is 10 cm (3.9 inches)

4. Diet Life Span Clownfish eat mostly plants, algae or tending algae (gardens) The female lays their eggs near where the host sea anemone (Where they live) All clownfish are born male first The dominate male turns into a female

6. Fun Facts If kept as pet it has to be kept in warm seawater The sea anemone doesn’t see clown fish as food because of the gel that’s on the clown fish
