7. We have already started to segment and blend with the sounds we have learnt so far. We use our fingers to segment. We use a swish to help us blend! Children sometimes find it hard to blend the last sound. e.g pin becomes pit / pid /pig SEGMENTING AND BLENDING

9. Tricky words are words that can not be segmented or blending. They just have to learn them by sight. So far we have learnt, I and a, to. Later we will add words like, the, no etc. TRICKY WORDS
