20. Looking for personal growth and change -2004….. Recertified in Internal Medicine 2004 Mobile Medicine Van Considered leaving clinical medicine for job in safety/pharmico-vigilence at Abbott Accepted new position on faculty at UIC I’M BACK !!!!

23. Changes in Personal Life 2010 Began to rethink career that was heavily clinical medicine Growing practice associated with increasing paperwork, documentation and time requirements, increasing regulatory demands Husband decided to semi-retire and wanted to have more flexibility in schedule

24. Corporate Job 2011-2012 Accretive Health- Consulting Job- Chart reviews and summaries, analyze admission criteria and admission status Improved computer skills, data mining, learned about business side of medicine Used clinical skills but no direct patient contact

25. Masters Degree in Public Policy National Louis University – Chicago 2011-2012 Improved foundation in government, social studies and political issues Improved writing skills including proposals, grants and reports of all kinds Learned approach to policy making
