2
Purposes of Your Display Your display is how you present your products to the potential customer.
3
Your display gives your customer their first impression of your stand and your product.
4
Post photos of your farm and family at your stand. Remember folks love to connect to you and know where their food is coming from.
5
Purposes of Your Display The most important purpose is to draw customers to your stand.
6
You can’t sell anything to a customer that doesn’t drop by your stand. Your display should invite customers to come over and shop your stand. BECAUSE…
7
Purposes of Your Display Your display’s second purpose is to show your product at its best.
8
Some products are best in baskets, like apples. Some need to be on ice or bunched together. Each product has its own “best” way. The way you display your product should let the customer see the best qualities of your product.
9
Purposes of Your Display Thirdly, your display should add to the customer’s experience
10
Farmers’ market customers come to the market for fresh products and to support local farmers, but they also come for the atmosphere and experience of shopping there.
11
The use of bright table cloths, tents and informative signs lends a festive atmosphere to the shopping experience.
12
Display Tips You don’t have to use all these tips but try to put a few to use to improve your sales.
13
Add height to your display using shelves or risers. Hanging some items may be appropriate. This makes good use of your small space and let’s the customer see all your products.
