BUILDING STRONG ® PORTLAND DISTRICT 6 Section 404 exemptions Normal farming, silvi-culture, and ranching activities Maintenance, including emergency reconstruction of recently damaged parts, of currently serviceable structures ► Dikes, levees, riprap, bridge abutments or approaches, transportation structures ► Cannot change character, scope, or size Construction/Maintenance of ► Farm or stock ponds, irrigation ditches ► Farm roads, forest roads, or temporary mining roads Maintenance of drainage ditches
