Slide 2 PBS200 concepts PBS200 provides network access for the HM bonders PBS server (Windows services) Workbench (User interface) All bonders connect to the PBS server (bonders are usually separated on a 2 nd network card) The Workbench displays the information from the PBS server Multiple instances of the Workbench are possible (in the office, in the production area,...) (LAN)

Slide 6 Master programming (PBS server) Load bonding programs from the network PBS serverer works as a directory service Shows a specified master folder to the bonder (folder can be local or mapped network drive) Bonder loads programs from the master folder Benefits: All bonders use the same bonding programs Changes in master programs affect all bonders immediately Share folder for easy remote administration

Slide 7 Process data export (PBS server) User customizable export of process data Idea: When a certain event occurs, write a user-defined set of values Large set of values is available Data can be written to a CSV file or SQL database Many external applications can display and anlyse the data Example: log data for tracability Event: Bond finished Write: Date, time, bond-id, pulltest result, PiQC results

Use the PBS interface DLL: Can be used from every programming language Receives process data from the bonder Allows to send custom messages to the bonder Write custom code to process or export the data Easy to use example code and documentation Used to integrate client specific solutions (MES, Secs/Gem,...)
