5. Database check at p5 As of now, an audible alarm sounds in the control room if there is a problem in the database – Thresholds for a set of “test queries” – If one of the queries stays above the lower threshold for more than ~5 minutes  audio alarm in the control room 18 July 2012: test of notification and audible alarms – Lowered thresholds to a ridiculously low value, and waited for reaction from ICINGA. Audio alarm within ~5 minutes – Thresholds/configuration to be tuned to minimize false-positives and to optimize reaction time Next step: get input from subsystems – Input = representative set of queries done at run transitions (i.e., Initialize, Configure, Start, Halt,…) with the idea that these are the critical queries needed to get the system Running… I made a presentation on this yesterday at the Run Meeting… Will send out email to commissioning hypernews tomorrow… 31 July 2012G.
