3. Chrobry’s Banks (Wały Chrobrego) Chrobry’s Banks were built in the 20th century. The authorities of Wespomeranian Province and a complex of buildings of the Maritime Academy, Contemporary Theatre and National Museum are located here.

5. Royal Gate (Brama Królewska) Royal Gate was built in 1725 – 1728 according to Gerhard Cornelius’s project. It is decorated with armours and shields which form a triumphal parade.

7. Town Hall (Stary Ratusz) It is situated in the middle of the Old Market Square. The Town Hall was built in the 14th century and is now the headquarter of Szczecin’s Museum.

9. The Castle of Pomeranian Dukes (Zamek Książąt Pomorskich) The castle is situated on the Castle Hill. Throughout its long history it was destroyed and rebuilt. At present it’s a place of the Marshall’s Office, Opera and Operetta, Bogusław’ s Room, restaurants and a museum.

11. Kasprowicz Park (Park Kasprowicza) It is the biggest park created in 1900. There are kinds of rare trees (Yellow Pine, Serbian Spruce), Amphiteatre (summer teatre) and the Monument of Poles’ Deeds. This is a place for family walks or meetings with friends.

13. Emerald Lake (Jezioro Szmaragdowe) It is a place for walks and relax. Because of calcium in water this lake has a beautiful emerald colour. Near the hill there is a view terrace where we can admire the panorama.

15. Fair Meadows (Jasne Błonia) Fair Meadows are situated near the City Council. They were created as a „green place” to go for walks. Here we can see the Monument of John Paul II.

17. Deep Lake (Jezioro Głębokie) Going for a walk and cycling around this lake is a great idea for spending free time. Here you can go fishing or canoeing. In summer it is a bathing place.

19. Galaxy Shopping Centre (Centrum Handlowe Galaxy) Galaxy is the biggest shopping centre in Szczecin. There are more than 180 shops. You can find everything you need here.
