Wanted to talk about disability in an inspirational and progressive way. Started blog www.martynsibley.com.www.martynsibley.com Use Facebook, tumblr or myspace as a platform to explain your views and motives. Show interesting photos on flickr and upload short videos from vimeo (just google these sites to find them). Then embed them on main site. More interesting and unique. Also use Twitter and Facebook to update people on real time events - allowing supporters to feel a part of what you are campaigning for.
12
Telling the story is only the beginning. Can add content but nobody listening. Start by googling disability blogs and discussion forums. Listen, learn and observe. Start to participate and air your own views. Use Tweetdeck In time people will engage with you as long as you inspire them in some way. You cannot do it alone – 2 way dialogue

For Obama it was asking people to door knock, phone people, give money etc. For the disability e-petition it was as simple as signing their name to a purpose. The call to action can be small or big. People need an action. What that is only you can decide. For www.martynsibley.com it is asking people to support the planning of and then attending innovative events on disability.
