2. CORFU - GREECE 22 th October 2014 CMG Meeting In March 2014, the Municipality of Ravenna launched the first international video contest called Visual Mosaic, as Wp6 pilot action. The contest - dedicated to those videos having the mosaic as subject or conceptual approach or else as reference - has been addressed to video artists of all nationalities. Participation was free. Between April and June, 23 artists from all over the world applied

3. CORFU - GREECE 22 th October 2014 CMG Meeting The Pilot Action “Visual Mosaic” has been divided into two main actions: A Visual Mosaic exhibit held at MAR – City Art Museum, with the selected video finalists. A public screening night held at Rocca Brancaleone, showing the 10 video finalists, selected by a panel of experts, and the three video awarded. Among the artists selected, two European (Germany – Slovenia), two International (Israel – U.S.A) and six Italian.

CORFU - GREECE 22 th October 2014 CMG Meeting The event was promoted in collaboration with a promotion agency, by local media, promotion material (flyers and posters) and a press conference, held on the 25 th of August. Visual Mosaic screening night was held at the Citadel of Rocca Brancaleone on August the 30 th. The 10 finalist artists invited participated. Around 350 people came to Rocca Brancaleone for the event.

5. CORFU - GREECE 22 th October 2014 CMG Meeting Visual Mosaic on display Exhibit at Mar – City Art Museum Visual Mosaic exhibit at MAR was launched on the 20 th of September with a cerimony opened to public and press. A panel aimed at describing the project Adrifort and the related pilot action has been installed as part of the exposition itself. A flyer and a roll -up meant to describe Adrifort project and Visual Mosaic whole activity for those who visits the exhibit has been produced as well. The exhibit will be open to public from September 20 th to November 9 th.
