What issues does gambling pose for the Believer? 1.Is it consistent with God’s plan for obtaining wealth? A.Proverbs 13.11 B.Matthew 25: the parable of the talents

2.It brings us into potential or real conflict with serious Bible principles A.Lev. 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. i.Am I undermining this principle, when my gain comes at the expense of your loss? ii. In every form of gambling, the losers pay the winners B.I Cor. 4.2. I am a steward of God’s wealth. Is this a good and honorable way to spend His money? C.Matthew 10.29. God is sovereign over even the smallest thing—do games of chance reflect that?
