You will be creating pictures using the handouts I have supplied you with during this class period. 1.Cut out the states you wish to include in your picture. Note: each state can only be used once! 2.Arrange the states to create a picture! 3.Color your creation. 4.In a MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT, write a paragraph explaining your picture. Give your picture a TITLE.

You will submit your project in EdMastery. You will submit your Microsoft Word Document as one file and your scanned picture as another file. You will USE THE SAME DROP BOX. REMEMBER TO UPLOAD BOTH FILES BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR WORK

This picture is a portrait of Miss Malinowski. In this picture she is holding a flag to honor our independence that was earned during the American Revolution. She is waving as she represents states that will soon enter the United States of America.

In order to earn bonus points for this project you will need to list the state capitals of the states that you used to create your picture! The awarded points are as follows: 0. Did not attempt 1. Attempted to list capital cities but did not list them correctly 2. Listed 1 capital city correctly 3. Listed 2 capital cities correctly 4. Listed at least half of the capital cities correctly 5. LISTED ALL STATES AND THEIR CORRECT CAPITAL CITIES!
