2. Our Problem Statement To live in a district: What is the differences between the different districts in Bergen, and the people who live there? How will the districts be in a few years? What is desirable? Urban development in Bergen: Nygårdsgaten, Bergenhus, Laksevåg, Fana..? Can we see social differences? Which problems, current projects and future perspectives exist?

3. Municipal Master Plan’s Overriding Goal Bergen shall provide good living conditions for all its inhabitants within the framework of environmentally friendly development. Bergen shall have housing for all who want to settle in Bergen. Universal design (accessibility for all) shall be a principle in the construction of buildings, outdoor venues and transport solutions. The surroundings of all the city’s inhabitants shall be designed to promote equal functioning for everyone. The green areas shall be managed with a long-term perspective.

8. The difference in the districts 1.Laksevåg is lowest on the gross pay. Education? 2.Laksevåg highest on social security, because of gross pay? 3.Laksevåg lowest on education. Because of the gross pay? 4.Municipal housing highest in Laksevåg, because of low gross pay?
