You bet your pretty neck I do! one of the main points of musical theatre in the 1950s was the aspect of romance. A Bushel and Peck (Guys and Dolls), sung by Miss Adelaide is one of the most acclaimed and fitting songs of Musical Theatre from that time. The style of music was also contemporary for the fifties. Even Better, the musical took place in New York City, where Adelaide performs this song in one of NYC’s many theatres, this one happening to be the “Hot Box.”
