TUESDAY 9-2 AIM: WHAT ARE THE COURSE EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDIO ART? Do now: Fill in the Art A-Z with your table! Think of a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet that relates to art. Homework: Return your signed course expectation sheet, parent contact info Tomorrow. Supplies are due on Sept 10th.

Today: A-Z Warm Up Presentation of Rules/Class Procedures Supplies Forms for parents to fill out. Website.

WEDNESDAY 9-3 AIM: WHAT IS STUDIO ART? Do now: Complete the “Tell Us” Challenge with your table! Homework: Supplies are due Sept. 10 th. Complete the “ABOUT YOU” survey and return tomorrow in class.

Tell US: Red: Something about yesterday Orange: Something you do well Yellow: Something about your childhood Blue: Something creative you’ve done Brown: Something you can’t live without Green: Something you watch or listen to Without looking, pick a candy from the cup at your table. Depending on the color, answer the question and tell your table. Then pass the cup to the next person. Complete until there’s no candy in your cup.

THURSDAY 9-4 AIM: HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF THROUGH YOUR PORTFOLIO? Do now: Recall 3 Art Room rules. Homework: Find a picture to bring in for your portfolio cover. Supplies are due Sept. 10- Kits for sale TOMORROW in school!

FRIDAY 9-5 AIM: HOW CAN YOU CONTINUE TO DESIGN YOUR PORTFOLIO? Do now: Meet at least 5 new people in class and list three facts about that person! Homework: Supplies Are due Sept. 10th

Today: Do Now- Speed meeting Choose some participates to explain the picture they brought in for their portfolio Drawing/Collaging on Portfolio Send students to buy kits if available/Bring class?
