9. Painting Continued 3) Rolling Open the paint can using the screw driver. Fill the paint pan half way up. Gently roll the roller through the paint and up over the upper angled flat section of the pan. Begin rolling Do not press too hard on the wall. Also do not roll too fast.

10. Painting Continued 4) Drying Use the time recommended on the paint can. Remember that as the paint dries it will darken. Examine the walls to see if a second coat needs to be applied. Note: In most cases a second or even a third coat of paint will need to be used.
