Orion Telecom Networks Inc. - 2010Slide 2 Ethernet over E1(FE1) Product Overview Ethernet over E1 Converter provides the user a facility to transport Ethernet (multiple LANs) over an E1 link. Very Compact and Low cost. Converts and transports Ethernet sites over an E1 link The device can effectively utilize the redundant bandwidth of telecom operators' existing TDM network to transport Ethernet data with low investment Optional powers 220V AC and -48V DC Provides 120 Ohms – RJ45 and 75 Ohms - BNC E1 interface in the same box (user selectable) Plug and Play

Orion Telecom Networks Inc. - 2010Slide 3 Ethernet over E1(FE1) The maximum transmission rate of Ethernet data over E1 links is 2.048 Mbit/s Supporting 1600 frames, accordance with Interior Switching Link (ISL) Protocol Supports unframed, framed and multi framed E1 transmission mode Supporting local E1 port loop-back The Ethernet Port is self-adaptive to crossover or shoot-through (Straight / Parallel) cable to avoid the trouble of re-wiring Ethernet negotiation function. Supports 10M/100M and working modes of both full-duplex and semi-duplex Transparently transmits ultra-long frames stipulated in IEEE 802.1Q, and supports Ethernet switches with VLAN function. Transport the DATA transparently (No configuration required) Visual alarms (LEDs) on front panel Features and Highlights

Orion Telecom Networks Inc. - 2010Slide 4 Ethernet over E1(FE1) Features and Highlights Imbedded, dynamic Ethernet MAC address list (1024 addresses), and filter function for local data frames Can support multiple LANs of different network addresses Optional powers 220V AC and -48V DC Supported fractional E1. E1 Bandwidth can be adjusted from 64 Kbps to 2048 Kbps and selected in N*64Kbps format Provides 120 Ohms – RJ45 and 75 Ohms - BNC E1 interface in the same box (user selectable) Configurable Ethernet port speed (10 /100) and mode (Half / Full Duplex) Ethernet port mode status (LEDs) Plug and Play Very compact and low power consumption.
