IS IT STILL WORN TODAY THE SAME? It is about the same as it was a long time ago.

SCHOOL CLOTHING They wear uniforms at every school and almost all uniforms look the same.

BRIDAL WEAR They wear almost the same thing but it has more colors and is shorter than their everyday wear.

MEN AND WOMEN Men and Women clothing.

RED Girls: Purity, fertility, love, and beauty. Boys: Wealth, opulence, and power.

YELLOW Sacred and auspicious. Symbol of a merchant.

GREEN Color of Islam Hope and new beginnings, harvest, and virtue.

BLUE Notional sports color Lord Krishna

PURPLE Sorrow and comforting.

WHITE Unhappiness, death of a family member, sorrow, traditionally the only color a widow is aloud to wear, and funerals.

BLACK Evil, negativity, darkness, lack of appeal, anger, and used to ward off evil.

BROWN Mourning.
