2013 Leg Session HB 1245 – Made $1 rec registration fee permanent – Can’t sell agency-owned vessels in poor condition – Decriminalized vessel registration – Owners of boats >40 years old and >65’ long conduct an inspection prior to sale or face potential secondary liability.

2013 Continued Private moorage facilities may require min bid or line of credit when auctioning vessels. Up to $200,000 of program funding for Vessel Turn-in Program Boarding authority language added.

2013 Continued work group to – increase vessel owner responsibilities and – address challenges associated with the economics of removing vessels
