Academic Program 9 weeks of instruction: May 19 – July 17, 2008 Final exams: July 18-19, 2008 Long weekends to explore areas around Shanghai; holiday break around July 4 th All courses are taught in English by GT faculty Earn regular GT course credits

Cultural Courses by SJTU Complimentary, non-credit courses: Chinese Martial Arts Chinese Cooking Chinese Painting Chinese Calligraphy Taijiquan (Tai Chi) Note: There is no tuition charge for these courses, but participants must pay for the cost of supplies.

Costs Course load = 3. Total credit hours X = 9, 10 or 11. In-state tuition: [$163 or $171 or $188] times X (the tuition rate varies according to the year you started at Georgia Tech) Out-of-state tuition: [$163 or $171 or $188] times X + $250 Program fee: $3,395 (includes lodging, insurance, banquets and some lunches, field trips, language and cultural orientations, cultural courses, access to campus facilities, local tours and other activities) Technology fee: $103 Not included: airfare, visa fees
