3 How many pink dolphins are left? In Hong Kong a population of approximately 120 are left. Due To pollution and dolphin hunts, The population of dolphins are decreasing. They are usually found near Tung Chung, deep in the coastal areas. So its vital if they reproduce more.

4 Habits and Diet What do they eat? Pink dolphins normally love crabs, catfish, small river fish and even small turtles. As all of them are small, Its easier for the dolphins to hunt them. They appear to be the friendliest of all the river dolphins when approaching humans. They swim up to 30 kilometres in one day, although they usually swim slowly looking for food deep down.

5 Physical strengths Males grow 8.4 feet and weigh 345 pounds. Females grow 6.6 feet and weigh 217 pounds. Lifespan: Has not been determined. Based upon their size, some scientists believe they live as long as 35 years. Additionally, pink dolphins get pinker when they are excited or surprised, same as when humans blush we turn red.

7 What can we do? The reason behind the Pink Dolphins and its rareness is because they are going extinct. This is happening because of all the pollution and damages we are doing to their habitat. Every year, These dolphins die not because of aging but because of fishermen killing them. The purpose of this notice is to tell everyone to be careful whilst in the sea. To save the animals and to see further more of these superior dolphins.
