DisagreeAgree Joe arrived at 8.30am for the first day at his new school. He was very nervous to join this Year 6 class. He asked his mum to take him home.

DisagreeAgree The classroom was very big. The room was full of children. The teacher told Joe to sit at the empty desk. Everyone ignored Joe.

Joe made many friends and was very happy in his new school. THE END Return to First Page

DisagreeAgree No one spoke to Joe. He spent all breaktime by himself. He was very unhappy in his new school. “I wish I hadn’t come to this school,” he whispered to himself. Joe told his teacher that he had no one to talk to.

DisagreeAgree At lunchtime a boy started pushing and punching him. He pushed Joe to the floor and made everyone laugh. “Look at the hole in Joe’s trousers!” shouted the boy. Joe told the dinner lady that the boy had pushed him.

DisagreeAgree The next day the boy made fun of Joe’s clothes. He tugged at Joe’s clothes and ripped his shirt. Joe did not tell his teacher, that the boy had ripped his shirt. Magic Spell

THE END Return to First Page The teacher spoke to the class about pushing and pulling other people. The boy said sorry to Joe. The boy never did it again and Joe was happy.

DisagreeAgree The school bell rang at 3.30pm. The class was dismissed and the children started to walk home from school. The boy walked behind Joe and pushed him into a puddle. “Oh no! My mum will be cross,” sobbed Joe. When Joe returned home, he did not tell his mum.

THE END Return to First Page Joe’s mum went to see the teacher and the bullying stopped. Joe talked about his problems and he began to enjoy school.
