5. You will automatically be assigned summaries. If you do not want to write summaries you must notify me by the end of class. I will then write you a detention. Summaries are a substitute for a detention. Failure to complete by the beginning of next class period will result in two (2) detentions. Skipping /abbreviating as much as one word counts as incomplete. Summaries are between you and I. Parents usually are not notified. Summaries are recorded as a detention in my records.
