5. Tutorial Reminders Top part of form filled out BEFORE class, completely! Questions should come from class notes, then homework. Bring materials…no excuses for not having them if do your tutorial request ahead of time! Review everyone’s question before you begin. ◦ Make sure it is level 2 or higher! Take notes on everyone’s question. Another person takes note for the presenter. Ask ?s to lead presenter to own understanding. Homework is for HOME! Summaries need to be 5-7 sentences. Summaries are NOT what you did in tutorial. Rate a partner & your group at the top.

6. Great Debaters Review your handout, focusing on the items regarding elements of leadership. Review your list of characteristics of great leaders from the “Oak Tree” article and your notes from last semester. Identify examples of leadership that relate to your assigned leader or other leaders that come to mind Pay attention for leadership of varying types. You will use your notes to write an essay to the following prompt: Based on specific examples of leadership depicted in the film “The Great Debaters,” what are the most significant characteristics of leadership for being a “catalyst for change?”
