3. Hotels and Budgets  Wakulla Springs Lodge was built in 1937 by Edward Ball  Located on 550 Wakulla Park Dr, Wakulla Springs, FL 32305  Has 27 lodges  Spacious Lobby, with a massive fireplace, and marble floors!

4. Hotels and Budgets TTTThe Wakulla Springs Lodge also offers a spacious dining room, six conference rooms, snack bar and gift shop. IIIIt also contains original furniture from the 1930's YYYYou can have the time of your life for just 85$ a night!!!!

Wakulla Springs Restaurant  The Wakulla Springs Lodge Restaurant has served breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests and visitors since opening in 1937.  The restaurant has also been a favorite for Thanksgiving, Mother's Day and Easter Sunday dinners for generations of Wakulla and Leon county residents.  Sandwiches, ice cream and snacks are also served in the lodge's soda fountain and gift shop.

7. Wakulla Springs Restaurant  The dining room is open for Breakfast from 7:30a.m to 10:00a.m.  Lunch is served from 11:30a.m. until 2:00p.m  Dinner is available from 6:00p.m.to 8:00p.m.

What is on the Menu???  For breakfast you can enjoy a famous Golden Griddle Cake for just 4.45 and for just a dollar more you can but your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage.  For Lunch there is a Quarter Chicken it has been a menu favorite since 1946, it includes plump juicy chicken that is deep fried to a golden brown with all the right seasonings.  For Dinner a delicious Seafood Platter with shrimp, scallops, grouper, crabs, deep fried and served with a side of hushpuppies.

10. Activities  Although Wakulla Springs lodge doesn’t have TV's but you can enjoy boat tours and learn about Wakulla Spring history.  Or you could go Canoeing or kayaking the Sopchoppy River or the Wakulla River.

Activities  Then you could go for a nice boat ride at the Wakulla Springs Park were two types of a boat ride are offered.  The first is a glassbottom boat, operating when the water is clear, allows visitors to view the deep spring and clearly see the mouth of the cavern 100 feet below. An abundance of fish and a few fossilized mastodon bones can be seen in the spring depths.  The second is a boat ride on the pristine river, The three-mile riverboat tour offers a chance to observe alligators, birds, turtles and occasionally white-tailed deer and wild turkey.

12. Activities  April 19, 20 and 21st, 2007you can join in by celebrating wildlife and welcoming back their popular songbirds! With Wakulla’s Wildlife festival.  The admission fee is free to get into the park but there is a $4.00 parking fee  The admission fee on Saturday, April 21st includes access to Art on the Terrace, free presentations and exhibits, children's activities, a number of free tours, and the spectacular Birds of Prey and Reptile shows presented by Georgia Southern University.

13. Activities  If your not into the wildlife seen you would like you eat free food try Wakulla’s Blue Crab Festival!!  It is a two day feast of world famous hard shell blue crabs draws 20,000 seafood lovers to Panacea for feasting, dancing, parade and more.
